National Wildlife Week March 17-23

Did you know that March 17-23 is the National Wildlife Federation's National Wildlife Week for Educators? On their website you can find fun activities and resources centered around their theme of Wildlife and Water.

Better yet - use this opportunity to set up a camera trap monitoring study in your school's natural area or nearby park. See the lesson "Paint a Picture of Your Ecosystem" and follow the steps to monitor wildlife with camera traps using TEAM's camera trapping protocol.

Or check out the lessons "Patterns in Camera Trap Data" and "Badru's Story" to see images of amazing animals from TEAM's network of camera traps in tropical forests.

Remember, to access all of the content (including teacher directions, assignments and science standards) please create a teacher account.

Happy Wildlife Week!
